A 2 for 1 Special!
Today’s Estimated Reading Time: 2 Minutes and 53 Seconds
Good Morning. This is the Daily Breakroom. There’s lots of action over the next few days and we don’t want you to miss a thing. We’re going to start off with a bunch of college athletics and then finish with our 2 for 1 special.
VAMOS!
🏀 Sweet 16 Schedule
The next two days will be the last of March Madness, depending on how seriously you take things. We’ve got our Sweet 16 matchups tonight and tomorrow night and then the Elite 8 games will take place Saturday and Sunday. The Final Four games return next weekend, but it will technically be April by then.
Here’s the lineup for tonight.

🏒 The Road to the Frozen Four ❄️
The Men’s College Hockey Tournament returns to the ice tonight when the puck drops for the first round games. The first round includes 16 teams, with games tonight and tomorrow night. Quarterfinals are played this Saturday and Sunday and the Frozen Four will be more a of a warm weather vacation this year as it’s being played in Tampa Bay on April 6 and April 8.
These boys can do it all on the ice and the games are fast, physical, and thrilling. Unfortunately, the first round games will be overshadowed by March Madness and the Frozen Four will have to battle with the Masters to get eyes on the screen.
Check out the bracket below for times and tv slots.

🤼♂️ NCAA Men’s Wrestling
Queue the entrance music, we’re a little late to the ring …
Sorry, that’s a different wrestling.
We’re here to talk about NCAA Wrestling and yes we are a few days late on this one.
This past weekend, Penn State captured their 10th NCAA Wrestling title in school history. This was the 16th straight time a Big Ten school has won the championship. If you’re in the Big 10 region and you’re not playing basketball in the winter, you’re probably wrestling because there is NOTHING. ELSE. TO. DO.
There are 10 weight classes and you don’t have to win them all the win the natty, you just need to get a few points in each of the brackets. That’s exactly what Penn State did. They did have two champs though. Carter Starocci won the 174lb weight class and Aaron Brooks won the 184lb group for Penn State. Both Starocci and Brooks are now 3-time NCAA Champions.
Are there upsets in college wrestling? There sure are!
In the 125lb semifinals, the 1 seed from Iowa, Spencer Lee was pinned by the 4 seed from Purdue, Matt Ramos. It would’ve been Lee’s 4th National Championship. You can imagine Lee wasn’t very happy… and neither was his mother.
Mom CRUSHED glasses after son, Spencer Lee, lost NCAA Wrestling Championships semifinals in historic upset 😳
It would've been his fourth straight title

⛳️ 2 For 1 Special
We get a 2 for 1 special on the PGA Tour this weekend. As the Dell Match Play takes place with only 64 golfers getting an invite, the rest of the pros still need to get in on the action.
What better place to play than Punta Cana. The Corales Puntacana Championship tees of today at the Corales Golf Club. The total purse for Corales comes in at $3.8 million which is just a little shy of the Dell Match Play’s $20 million purse.
You can watch the Corales on The GOLF Channel in the morning before they move the broadcast over to the Dell Match Play.
Thanks for reading. Enjoy all the games tonight!
