Who was crowned the Amateur Winner at AT&T Pro-Am?

Aaron Rodgers checks off a bucket list item with an Amateur win Pebble Beach, playing alongside Ben Silverman. After 54 holes, the two came in 26 under par.

A Pro Winner has not been decided yet as darkness set in on the Monterey Peninsula Sunday night and a few golfers have to return to the course this morning. Justin Rose currently has a two stroke lead and he has another 9 holes to play to maintain his lead. Tune into the Golf Channel from 11am-2pm EST to watch the rest play out.

America’s Team Making Coaching Moves

Are the Dallas Cowboys still considered America’s team? I’m not the one to answer but it feels like they haven’t won since the USA declared freedom from England (maybe that’s a bit dramatic, oh well). The Cowboys let OC Kellen Moore go to the Chargers, where that offense if probably going to roll with talented QB Justin Herbert. How is Dallas replacing Moore? With Brian Schottenheimer. With DC Dan Quinn coming back to lead what should be another stellar defense, the front office of the Cowboys seem to be okay settling with mediocrity on the offense. This tweet sums up Schott’s career nicely.

NFL Pro Bowl A Success

The revamped NFL Pro Bowl seemed to be a hit with players. The younger Manning(Eli) led the NFC to a victory against his older brother Peyton, who was leading the AFC troops. The scores were cumulative, where teams would receive points for various competitions. The final results came down to the final event, a flag football competition. We’d throw some Youtube highlights in for you, but 🤡 Roger🤡 doesn’t like to share content.

Kyrie Updates

Speaking of clowns, we have a Kyrie update. It’s reported that Kyrie Irving and Markieff Morris are being traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Dallas Mavericks in return for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, a 2027 second-round pick and 2029 first and second round pick.

We’re a little surprised with Mark Cuban who apparently evalauted this deal and felt like he can get a positive ROI on this trade. We’ll see if the Shark Tank star can help Kyrie turn things around get him to play nice with start Luka Doncic.

It’s also being reported that Kyrie is getting a $2 million bonus just for being traded. Whatever happens, we can all agree on one thing. We’re all Joe Tsai fans now.
