Big Money in Texlahoma
GM. This is the Daily Breakroom. We deliver you the realest news in sports, unlike Kirk’s Collectibles 👀 (read more to find out)
Here’s the starting lineup for today:
⚾️ Players Report For Duty!
🏀 Bucks Take On Celtics
🏈 Big 12 Break Up
☠️ No Love From The Raiders
🏆️ It’s All A Fugazi
We have quite the agenda but I think we can cover this in less than 5. Let’s get to it
Spring Is In The Air
The temps are warming and that means fields are starting to thaw. While we wait, MLB teams have pitchers and catchers reporting for spring training today and tomorrow. All other fielders will report on Feb 20/21. Spring training games start on Feb 24/25.
Bucks Win In OT (131-125)
On Tuesday night, an injured Boston Celtics team took on the Bucks in Milwaukee. The Celtics, whose roster should get healthier by the end of the All-Star break, put up a fight but came up short in OT. Bucks guard, Jrue Holiday, had a big day. Holiday put up a clutch 40 points, including a 3 pointer (watch below) to give the Bucks the lead with 30 seconds left in OT. Bucks star, Giannis Antetokounmpo also had 36 points. It’s the Bucks 11th straight win.

Big 12 Breakup
The SEC💲is real. It’s so real it has Texas and Oklahoma willing to dish out a hundred mil to the Big 12 so they can head over to the SEC a year early. The two schools were originally joining the SEC in 2025 but decided to put their money where their mouth is and make the jump in 2024. I’m sure the SEC TV money will make this a worthy investment for the schools.
No ❤️From The Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders are known for having a big, bad, tough fan base and for having a front office who adores players with speed. Guess who the Raiders don’t love? Derek Carr. That’s right, the Raiders cut their QB on Tuesday, showing no love on Valentine’s Day. Carr is heading out to free agency and we’ll update you when we find out where he lands.
One Big Hoax
Law enforcement has stopped a counterfeit scheme which consisted of a South Carolina memorabilia store trying to sell fake NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and NCAA championship rings. Had this scheme not been caught, these goods could have sold for more than $15 million. Like Matthew McConaughey said in the Wolf of Wall St… It’s all a fugazi... it’s all fairy dust. Moral of the story? Don’t buy anything from Kirk’s Collectibles in South Carolina.

Thanks for reading. Check us out tomorrow as we jump into the land of obscure sports.
Have a Great Day!
