BROOKSY IS BACK!

+ the Michael Block Show

Today’s Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes and 20 seconds

Good Morning and Happy Monday. Another exciting weekend of action is in the books. Brooks Koepka played a solid round of golf to capture his 5th Major of his career, the Heat are up 3-0 against the Celtics, and of course, we had another overtime game in the NHL.

Let’s get into the details

PGA Championship

Brooks Koepka was the story of the weekend as he held the lead heading into the final round of the PGA Championship. He played a decent round on a beautiful day at Oak Hill Country Club and came in 3 under for the day to win his 5th major with a -9 total. Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland tied for 2nd with both players coming in at -7 for the tournament

The bigger story of the weekend was California-based PGA Pro, Michael Block who tied for 15th and secured his spot in next year’s PGA Championship at Valhalla. Not only did he win about $300,000 with his performance, but he also got to play a round with Rory McIlroy, which 99.99% of us could only dream of. As if winning all that money and playing with Rory wasn’t enough, Block had to add the cherry on top with a hole-in-1 drunk on the par 3, hole 15.

That’s one helluva weekend if you ask us.
