How Can One Player Make This Big Of A Difference?
+ College Football Shakeup
Buenos Dias!
We’re like the Denny’s Grand Slam. We’ve got 4 items and we’re serving ‘em hot today!
Here’s what we got:
Messi Making A Difference
Tom Brady Buys Part Of Footie Team
College Football Conference Shakeup
Yankees Lose Starting Pitcher
Here we go.
Lionel Messi Is Pretty Darn Good
Lionel Messi has 5 five goals in only 3 appearances for Inter Miami in the MLS.
Before Messi arrived, Inter Miami had 2 wins, 3 draws, and 14 losses. In the 3 games that Messi has played, Inter Miami has 3 wins, 0 draws, and 0 losses. This dude is making a difference.
Messi scored 2 goals, albeit on great passes last night in a matchup vs Orlando FC. Here’s the thing. Messi is a great finisher but if you watch him on offense for a bit, you’ll notice how good his off-ball movement is.
It’s almost like, moving around a lot to get open will help you have more scoring chances.
MESSI MAGIC AGAIN❗️
4 GOALS IN 3 MATCHES WITH INTER MIAMI 🔥

Tom Brady Enters Into Football Ownership
Tom Brady essentially “owned” the NFL for 21 years, now he’s moving on to a different type of football ownership.
Brady has become a minority owner in Birmingham City, a struggling football club in English soccer’s second-tier Championship.
Brady will reportedly "apply his extensive leadership experience and expertise across several components of the club, including working alongside the sports science department to advise on health, nutrition, wellness, and recovery systems and programs."
Let’s see if Brady can help turn this team around.
Welcome to the Blues family, @TomBrady! 💙

College Football Shakeup
Every few years there seems to be some conference shakeups in college football and even though the conferences dont’ look like they used to it, we still love it.
Things might get really shaken up though.
With the news we shared yesterday regarding the Pac-12’s TV deal, and with USC and UCLA leaving for the Big 10, the Big 10 is considering poaching more teams from the Pac-12. Apparently, no one is safe the Big 10 could look to grab Washington, Oregon, Stanford, and Cal.
If we head to the East Coast, the ACC might be get a little shakeup. The SEC and Big 10 tv deals are going to pay schools $30 million more per year than ACC schools. Now Florida State is threatening to leave the ACC and could possibly land in the SEC.
If the Big 10 can sway more Pac-12 schools to come over and the SEC can grab Florida State, we’re going to have quite the super leagues to watch on the college stage.
Yankees Lose Starting Pitcher
Yankees pitcher Domingo German will be out for the remainder of the season as he is agreeing to voluntarily enter an alcohol rehabilitation program.
The right handed starter just threw a perfect game about a month ago but he’s struggled in his five games since then.
This could be a blow to the Yankees as they try to grab a wild card spot but some things are bigger than sports. We hope German has a great recovery.
That’s all for today, thanks for reading!
