Chicago Does MOORE Than Enough To Win
Today's Estimated Reading Time: 2 Minutes and 28 Seconds
Good Morning, unless you’re a Chicago Bears fan, then it’s a great morning, but then again, it’s also a sad morning.
Let’s find out why.
Chicago Bears
The Sad
Dick Butkus, the Chicago Bears legendary linebacker passed away yesterday, he was 80 years old. He is one of the greatest defensive players in the history of football and was the model for the speedy and vicious linebackers you saw in years past.
Butkus was All-Pro five times, made the Pro Bowl 8 times (when that actually mattered), and then in his ninth season had a knee injury that forced him to retire at 31. He was elected to the Football Hall of Fame in 1979, which was his first year of eligibility.
Here’s 3 minutes of hit sticks from Butkus and let me tell you, he doesn’t go low.
R.I.P. Monster of the Midway.
The Glad
The Chicago Bears were able to honor their legend on the day of his passing by dominating the Washington Commanders in a 40-20 win last night.
The MVP of the day? DJ Moore!
Moore caught 8 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns last night. QB Justin Fields threw for 282 yards, 4 tuddies, and ran for 57 yards.
The Bears’ defense was also impressive last night as they had two turnovers and had pressure on Sam Howell all night. The Commanders’ o-line gave up 5 sacks and 11 QB hits.
This was Chicago’s first win in 14 games.

Exactly What Giants Fans Want To Hear
The New York Giants face the Miami Dolphins this week. I’m not sure that you can even call it a matchup as it seems more like a mismatch.
The Dolphins are a juggernaut of an offense and lead the NFL in basically every offensive category.
✔️Passing Yards
✔️ Rushing Yards
✔️Points
The Giants’ defense has 0 turnovers on the year, are in the middle of the pack for yards given up in a game, and are also the 4th worst team in the league when it comes to points allowed.
The Giants could be in for a very long day in Miami on Sunday and their defensive coordinator knows it. DC Don Martindale said he’s sleeping like a baby preparing for the offense. “Every two hours, I wake up and cry and go to the bathroom, and try to go back to sleep,” Martindale said.
That sounds about right when you’re prepping for the Dolphins offense who uses motion on almost 60% of their snaps.
The current spread for this game is Dolphins -11 and the O/U is 49.5.
