Tiger Making a Comeback

Tiger Woods is hosting the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Golf Course. Woods is also playing in this invitational. Thursday was Woods’ return to the tour as he only played in some Majors last year(we’ll dig into Majors another time). Tiger started off the front 9 holes being one under par. His back 9 was off to a slow start as he bogeyed holes 10 and 12. Tiger finished strong with 3 birdies to come in at 2 under which is 5 strokes off the lead. Tiger will tee off at 10:24am EST today. Tune into ESPN+ or Peacock and see if Tiger will outdrive Justin Thomas and hand off some paraphernalia.

Max Homa and Keith Mitchell share the lead at -7, while John Rahm is in 3rd at -6.

All Star Weekend

NBA All Star Weekend is here and they are packing a full schedule of events.

Here’s what to look out for each day.

Friday: Celebrity game @ 7pm EST on ESPN

Saturday: Skills, 3pt and dunk competitions @ 8pm EST on TNT

Sunday: All Star Game @ 8:30pm EST on TNT

Sunday’s game is Team Giannis vs Team LeBron. Giannis’ status for the game is unknown as he suffered a wrist sprain in a Thursday night win vs The Chicago Bulls.

MLB Expansion

Talks are always happening in the MLB regarding expansion. In a perfect world, there would be 28 teams but the league will never size down. MLB is discussing the addition of two teams to bring the total number to 32. This would require some division realignment. Former GM and current analyst, Jim Bowden, is stirring the pot with a new division proposal. Check it out and let us know what you think about it.
