The Elly De La Cruz Show
Let’s just start by telling you that the Cincinnati Reds beat the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday 8-5.
Now let’s start telling you about the Elly De La Cruz show. This dude is just wild. He’s only 21 years old and he just got called up to the Majors 33 days ago. He’s played in 29 games, is hitting .328, has 40 hits, 16 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases.
Let’s talk about those stolen bases.
De La Cruz broke a 5-5 tie in the 7th with a two-out RBI single.
De La Cruz then stole 2nd base.
He then stole 3rd base.
Do you see a trend?
GOOD
Because De La Cruz then stole home!
He stole 3 bases and only 2 pitches were thrown.
Check it out.
