Howdy, we hope you’re having a beautiful August weekend. Enjoy them now because in 4 weeks your butt will be glued to the couch watching NFL week 1.

Here’s what we got today:

🏈 Damar Hamlin’s Amazing Return to the Field

⛳️ Sunday at Southwind

⚾️This Is Not A Mistake

🏀 Basketball Hall of Fame Induction

Let’s get to it.

Damar Hamlin Takes the Field

Damar Hamlin returned to the football field seven months after he suffered cardiac arrest in a game against the Bengals. Hamlin had a nice showing as he played 24 snaps and had 3 tackles, including a key tackle on a fourth down stop.

Bill’s Head Coach Sean McDermott said “What we just witnessed is remarkable.”

We hope Hamlin has an awesome season this year and many more to come.

Sunday at Southwind

We move into the final day of the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind and Lucas Glover remains at the top of the leaderboard at 14 under par. Taylor Moore sits one shot behind Glover and the two will be teeing off in the final pairing today.

If Glover can pull this win off, his 2nd in a row, he will jump to third in the FedEx Cup playoff standings. If Glover makes the cut next weekend, he’d be in great shape for the final championship.

Tommy Fleetwood, Max Homa, Jordan Spieth, and Rory are all within striking distance of the lead.

Sunday’s coverage beings at 1 pm ET on The Golf Channel and switches over to CBS at 3 pm ET.

Not A Mistake

The Atlanta Braves were rolling in New York yesterday against the Mets in a doubleheader. In game 1, the Braves went into the 9th inning up 13-3 and poured in 8 runs to finish the Mets off 21-3. It was an 8-hit, 8-run inning for the Braves.

The best part Braves beat up the Mets again with a 6-0 pounding in the second game of the doubleheader.

Tough day for the Mets!
