Good Morning and Happy Monday! We had a busy weekend with bits of action around the world. Let’s get right into some topics and start this week off.
The French Open
Novak Djokovic broke the record for most Grand Slam Championships with a French Open Title win over Casper Ruud that only took 3 sets. This is Djokovic’s 23rd Grand Slam, which broke the tie with Rafael Nadal.
Man City Completes The Treble
Manchester City completed the treble over the weekend when they won the 2023 UEFA Champions League with a 1-0 win over Inter Milan.
The football club are the kings of Europe as they won the Premier League, the FA Cup, and now the Champions League.
A Win For Canada
Canada’s Nick Taylor defeated Tommy Fleetwood in a playoff to win the Canadian Open on Sunday. It took four playoff holes for Taylor to secure the win with a massive 72-foot eagle putt as he became the first Canadian in 69 years to win his national open.

The Road To Omaha
Six spots have been grabbed for the College Baseball World Series that takes place in Omaha, Nebraska. Wake Forest, LSU, Florida, Virginia, TCU, and Oral Roberts have all clinched a world series spot. Two spots are up for grabs tonight as Southern Miss and Tennesse face off and Texas faces Stanford.
NBA Finals, Game 5
The Denver Nuggets are hosting game 5 of the NBA Finals and lead the Miami Heat in the series 3-1. The Nuggets have an opportunity to win the franchise’s first NBA Title with a win at home tonight.
