🥊 Mike Tyson has postponed his fight against Jake Paul due to a stomach ulcer. Tyson’s doctor told him to train easily for the next few weeks due to a flare-up in his ulcer. The fight, which I think 99.99% of people want Tyson to win in his old-fashioned brute force type of way, will be postponed. Tyson said in a statement, “Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end, you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good.”

⛳️World #1 golf Nelly Korda has missed the U.S. Women’s Open cut after an improved second round. Korda missed the cut by two strokes as she finished +10. That +7 on a par 3 yesterday killed any chance she had at making the cut. It’s a tough go after Korda won 6 of her last 7 starts.

🏀 The Detroit Pistons have had enough of their mediocrity. They have decided to move on from GM Troy Weaver and have hired Trajan Langdon, who has been leading the New Orleans Pelicans since 2019. The Pels have improved every season under Langdon, and the same can’t be said for the Pistons under Weaver. Detroit is one of the youngest teams in the NBA. It will be interesting to see if Langdon can help introduce a winning culture. Anything has to be better than what we saw this year.

🏈 Big 💲is coming out of the Big 12. Thanks to the conference realignment, Big 12 schools will share $470 million in revenue. BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, and UCF will get about $18 million because they just joined the conference, and the other 10 teams already in the conference will get about $40 million per school. Football pays the bills!

🏈 The Buffalo Bills Signed Who? This is kind of LOL, but the Buffalo Bills have signed Olympic Gold Medalist/dominant wrestler Gable Steveson to the roster. He’ll be joining the practice squad to play D-line, and his goal is to win a ring. He must not watch a lot of football 🤣 

One game away from the Stanley Cup Finals

The Edmonton Oilers beat the Dallas Stars 3-1 in game 5 of the Western Conference Final last night. The Oilers now have a 3-2 lead in the series and an opportunity to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals if they can win game 6 at home on Sunday. Edmonton held Dallas to only 10 shots on goal in the first two periods, and the Oilers put the pressure on the Stars during the same timeframe when Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored power-play goals in the first and second periods.

📺️ P.S. Don’t forget to turn on the New York Rangers @ Florida Panthers game 6 tonight at 8 pm on ABC. The Panthers lead the series 3-2 and can advance to the Stanley Cup with a win at home.
