FedEx Cup Playoffs

If you’ve never seen the PGA Tour Playoffs or don’t understand how they work…. we got you.

It’s pretty simple. Golfers receive points for wherever they finish in tournaments throughout the year and at the end of the year, the top 70 players get into the first round of playoffs, which is this weekend.

If you finish in the top 50 this weekend at the FedEx Cup St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind you’ll be playing next weekend at the BMW Championship.

If you make the top 30 in the BMW, then you get to play for the TOUR Championship, which is a whole other ball game we’ll get to when the time comes.

Let’s bring you back to this weekend for the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

First, where can you watch? Thursday and Friday on The Golf Channel from 2-6 pm ET. You can also stream all day on ESPN+

What time do players tee off? There’s been a tee time delay due to some hazardous weather, so players will be teeing off around 11 am ET.

Are there any good tee groupings? HECK YES! Check out these pairings for Thursday

  • 11:26 a.m. ET – Jon Rahm/Scottie Scheffler/Rory McIlroy

  • 11:14 a.m. ET – Viktor Hovland/Keegan Bradley/Sepp Straka

  • 12:56 p.m. ET – Jordan Spieth/Sungjae Im/Justin Rose

Enjoy it.. we’ve only got 3 weekends left!

A No No In Philly

Philadelphia Phillies Pitcher Michael Lorenzen threw a no-hitter last night against the Washington Capitols. It’s the 14th no-hitter in Phillies history and he did it on 124 pitches. Lorenzen was just traded to the Phillies and this is his first home start. That’s the way to kick it off in your new stadium.
