The Football Feast Continues

Happy Rivalry Day! Our weekend of football feasting continues as we’ve got a huge matchup in college football today and some key matchups in the NFL tomorrow. We’ll also cover some of the college and NFL scores from yesterday.

Let’s go.

THE GAME

The Saturday after Thanksgiving brings out one of the best rivalries in America. It’s a matchup of The Michigan Wolverines and The Ohio State Buckeyes aka THE GAME. This game is usually a deciding factor on who will win the Big 10, get to The Rose Bowl, or even possibly have a shot at the National Championship and this year is no different. This matchup has true playoff implications and the winner will be a 1 or 2 seed in the playoffs depending on what happens with the SEC Championship.

📺️ This year’s matchup is at Noon ET and will be on FOX

👀 Here’s what we’re looking for today. Michigan is in the middle of a sign-stealing scandal and they won’t have HC Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines in Ann Arbor. Michigan has the better matchup in the ground game on paper against a weaker Ohio State front 7. Ohio State does have good pass rushers which could give Michigan a little trouble on the edge with protection. While Ohio State doesn’t have a super powerful offense like in years past and QB Kyle McCord is churning out average performances this year, they have Marvin Harrison Jr., who is the best receiver in all of college football. If Ohio State can churn out some good runs, and make some safe plays in the passing game, they’ll likely hit some explosive throws in the game.

💥 Explosive plays are the key. Will Blake Corum have breakout runs for Michigan? Will JJ McCarthy make some big-time throws on offense for the Wolverines? Can TreVeyon Henderson get things going on the ground to open up big throws for the Buckeyes? We’re going to find out in just a few hours at The Big House.

💰️ Michigan is the favorite for the first time in 5 years and they are giving 3 points to OSU. The O/U is a 45.5.

The Iron Bowl

The Alabama Crimson Tide are trying to hold on to their playoff hopes and make it to the SEC Championship with a lone loss to Texas. Throw the records out, because they don’t seem to matter when Alabama and Auburn face each other in the Iron Bowl.

👉️ Alabama is 10-1 and Auburn is 6-5, but Bama has the hot hand with Jalen Milroe playing great at QB and Auburn is coming off of a terrible loss to New Mexico State. Alabama has been rolling on teams by two scores or more in the last few weeks and Auburn’s offense has been lackluster. I know we say throw the records out, but I’m not sure Auburn can this year.

📺️ Gametime is 3:30 pm ET on CBS

💰️ Alabama is the favorite by 13 points and the O/U is 47.5.

Florida State Vs Florida

Here’s one that’ll trip you up. The undefeated Florida State Seminoles have to take on the 5-6 Florida Gators in Gainesville. FSU’s perfect season is on the hot seat as they lost QB Jordan Travis to an injury last weekend and backup QB Tate Rodemaker is going to need to have a big moment tonight. He helped the ‘Noles get a comeback win against North Alabama last weekend after Travis left the game. Florida is starting Max Brown who entered the game against Mizzou last week after Graham Mertz broke his collarbone. Brown got the Gators into some favorable positions on the field but it wasn’t enough.

📺️ Gametime is 7 pm ET on ESPN

💰️ FSU is currently the favorite at 6.5 points and the O/U is 48.5

Check out some of the other rivalry week matchups that are worth watching.

Black Friday Football in the NFL

Miami Dolphins (8-3) 34 | NY Jets (4-7) 13

👀 The Dolphins were able to overcome two interceptions by Tua with the help of Tyreek Hill and Raheem Mostert. Hill had 102 yards on nine catches and a TD and Mostert ran the ball 20 times for 94 and 2 TDs.

👍️ Tim Boyle started for the Jets at QB. He was 27/38 for 179 yards and 1 TD. He did throw a wild pick-six at the end of the first half on a Hail Mary play that was brought back 99 yards.

That’s all we got for you today. Enjoy the games and we’ll hit you up with an NFL preview tomorrow.
