The Greatest Show on Grass!

That’s right; today is the day the PGA Tour tees it up at TPC Scottsdale for “The Greatest Show on Grass.” It’s one of my favorite golf events to watch at home. We’ll chat about this and cover some stats and scores from last night.

Waste Management Phoenix Open

The Waste Management Phoenix Open, or "The People's Open", isheld annually at TPC Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona. It's one of the most popular and well-attended golf tournaments. They get almost half a million attendees from Wednesday to Sunday. That’s pretty darn impressive, given the fact the final round is on the same day as the Super Bowl.

The tournament is played on the Stadium Course, a par-72 that plays just over 7,200 yards. If you pay attention just a little bit of golf, you should recognize the 16th hole, a par-3 stadium surrounded by bleachers. It is one of the most iconic holes in golf.
