The NBA signed an 11-year, $76 billion TV with Disney, NBC, and Amazon Prime, leaving Warner Bros in the dust.

Time could be running out for a Bengals Super Bowl run as Tee Higgins hints his time in Cincy is coming to an end.

Michael Gallup retired from the Raiders before camp even started

CeeDee Lamb is holding out of Cowboys camp. Trent Williams is doing the same with the 49ers. Jim Harbaugh said camp “feels like he’s coming out of the womb”.

Way to keep it real, Jim.

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are leading the WNBA in jersey sales.

Utah is getting the 2034 Winter Olympic Games!

And we finally mentioned the Olympics. So let’s jump right in and get you caught up on what you need to know as the Olympics don’t officially start until tomorrow, but some events have already somehow kicked off.

Bonjour de Paris

The 2024 Olympics has some new events for this year’s games. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new.

🕺Breaking: Not sure what that is? Simple, it’s breakdancing. Yup! Somehow, breakdancing made it into the games, but it will be short-lived as it won’t be part of the 2028 games.

🛶 Kayak is making a change this year as kayakers will race against one another instead of a clock.

🏊️Artistic swimming isn’t a new event but this year it will include men in the competition.

🏃 One event in, one event out. A marathon race walk mixed relay is new this year, replacing a 50km race walk, which is basically a 31-mile run walk.

🏄️ Surfing is returning for the second time after it was part of the 2020 Tokyo Games. Here’s something crazy: The surfing is taking place on the other side of the world in Tahiti, which is part of France/French Polynesia. It’s the farthest distance an event has ever occurred from a host city.

🛹 Skateboarding is back too!

🏀 3×3 basketball is back, and the USA is being led by none other than the BYU college legend, Jimmer Fredette!

🪨 Sport climbing is back for the 2nd time, including a bouldering event and a speed climbing event.

What else should you be looking out for with Team USA?

We’ve got some tremendous athletes competing. Here are a few to pay special attention to.

👉️ Simone Biles: She’s performing in her 3rd Olympic games, and we’ll see what she can do after having a case of the “twisties” in 2020

👉️ Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone: She won gold and set a world record in the 400-meter hurdles four years ago and just might be ready to do it again

👉️ Katie Ledecky: She’s been a staple on Team USA for over a decade in swimming, and she’ll be looking to dominate once more

👉️ Sha’Carri Richardson: She was banned from the Tokyo Olympics due to a little cannabis use but she’s back and she’s faster than ever. She’ll be running the 100m and the 4 × 100m and is favored to win the Gold in both.

🏀 Both the Men and Women’s team for the US are shooting for gold and anything less would be a disappointment.

⛳️The US will be competing against 56 other top golfers worldwide, but at least we’ve got four pretty good ones representing. We’ve got Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele, who both won majors this year. We’ve also Wyndham Clark and Collin Morikawa representing.

How To Watch

There will be tons of coverage over the next few weeks on multiple services. Peacock seems like the best place to start. They’ll be streaming over 5,000 hours of coverage. NBC and USA will also be showing much of the action.

Opening Ceremonies

Make sure you tune into the opening ceremonies tomorrow at 1:30 pm ET on NBC.

We will keep you up to date as much as we possibly can on all things Olympics. In the meantime, get ready for the NFL season, which is less than 50 days away!
