I'm not sure how the Sixers pulled this off

+ Rangers take lead in World Series

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We’ve got lots to talk about on a Tuesday Morning and while we’ve got the NFL trade deadline today at 4 pm ET, we’ll be talking about NBA trades.

Let’s get this party thing started and get you on your way.

Monday Night Football

Las Vegas Raiders (3-5) 13 | Detroit Lions (6-2) 26

🏈The Lions have been desperately waiting to play a game since they got smashed by the Baltimore Ravens just 8 days ago. The scoreboard makes it look like this game was a lot closer than it was. Let’s peel back the layers

🧅 Yes, that’s an onion. Yes, if you peel back these layers I’m sure Raiders fans will want to cry. Are the Raiders this bad or are the Lions really good? It’s probably somewhere in the middle but we think Detroit is a good football team, it’s tough to be 6-2 if you’re mediocre. Of course at this point last year, the Giants were 8-2 and the Vikings were 7-1 and both of those teams were not nearly as good as their record showed.

💀 Let’s focus on the Raiders some more. They had 80 rushing yards and 126 passing yards. Yeah, that’s 206 total yards on offense and we haven’t even taken sack yards away yet. Take away those and you have a total yardage of 157 yards. This thing was so bad the Raiders only ran 45 plays on offense. It was so bad that Jimmy Garropolo didn’t complete a pass to a receiver in the first half.

🦁 As for the Lions, they had their way on offense and defense all night. Jared Goff completed 26 of 37 passes for 1 TD and 1 INT. Goff’s interception was brought back to the house and it was a silly mistake that he made. Jahmyr Gibbs was a DUDE last night and ran for 152 yards and a tuddy on 26 carries. The Lions’ defense sacked Garoppolo six times and had pressure on him all night.

👀Davante Adams had 1 catch for 11 yards last night. He was targeted 7 times by Jimmy G.

⁉️Could the Lions finish out the season 14-3? Hear me out. They play the Chargers, Saints, Broncos, Packers, and Cowboys once before the season ends and they could win 3 of 4 there. They also have 2 games against the Bears and Vikings, which you could probably chalk up to wins if Justin Fields isn’t healthy and with the uncertainty at the Vikings QB position. #Foodforthought

World Series Game 3 (Texas Lead 2-1)

Texas Rangers 3 | Arizona Diamondbacks 1

👀 The Texas Rangers are starting to eye a World Series Championship. They grabbed a crucial game 3 win, but it didn’t come without any sacrifices.

❤️‍🩹 Starting pitcher Max Scherzer exited the game after shutting out Arizona for 3 innings. He had an apparent back injury. The ALCS MVP, Adolis Garcia left the game with left-side tightness after a big swing at the plate. Garcia is a big-time player for Texas, he’ll be missed if he can’t play the rest of the series.

⚾️Corey Seager was the hero yet again last night. He belted a 2 run homer in the 3rd inning to give the Rangers the lead and they never looked back

📈 We mentioned this yesterday but out of 61 World Series matchups that were tied 1-1, the winner of game 3 has gone on to win 41 of those World Series.

Game 4

📍Game 4 is back in Phoenix at Chase Field

📺️ Gametime is set for 8:03 pm ET on FOX

⚾️ Andrew Heaney is pitching for the Rangers and Joe Mantiply is pitching for the D-Backs. This is Heaney’s first postseason start and Mantiply is 2-0 so far in the postseason.

💰️ It’s -105 for the Rangers to win or -115 for the D-Backs to win. The O/U is 9.5 tonight.

James Harden Is Traded To Los Angeles

Somehow James Harden keeps pulling the strings and is getting out of situations he doesn’t want to be in. This time, I think it might be the best thing for Philadelphia

👀 Here’s what’s happening. The 76ers agreed to a 7-player deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. The 76ers are getting Marcus Morris, Nic Batum, Robert Covington, KJ Martin, a 2028 unprotected first-round pick, two second-round picks, and a pick swap. The Clippers are getting James Harden, PJ Tucker, and Flip Petrusev.

🤣 Twitter aka X is already blowing up with questions like who’s going to stop a Clippers roster that now has Russell Westbrook, Harden, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard. I’m not sure if you’ve watched any basketball, but pretty much all of those guys except for Kawhi are very capable of getting in their own way.

Other News

🐯 If your head football coach isn’t as petty as Dabo Swinney, I don’t want him coaching my squad. Check out his rant with a caller who called into Tiger Calls.

🏈 We’re expecting some more trades today but we should mention that the Seahawks acquired DE Leonard Williams from the Giants for a 2024 2nd-round pick and 2025 5th-round pick.

🏀 The No. 1 high school prospect from the class of 2024, Cooper Flagg, committed to Duke over UCONN. I know we have some UNC Tar Heels fans and UCONN fans as readers so no need to sweat this too much, he’s very likely to be a 1 and done player.

🏒 Adam Johnson tragically died over the weekend after a freak hockey accident took place in England and Johnson’s throat was cut by a skate blade. After the hockey community has come together to honor Johnson, it’s looking like police in England will be investigating the death.
