An Impactful Saturday!
We had another wild Saturday in College Football. Some seasons were ruined and some were saved. Either way, we all enjoyed it. Let’s jump in and recap this late on a Sunday and see what happened.
ACC
#4 Florida State (9-0) 24 | Pittsburgh (2-7) 7
🏈The Florida State Seminoles secured a spot in the ACC Championship game for the first time since 2014 with a 24-7 win over Pittsburgh.
🏈Jordan Travis threw for a season-high 360 yards and a touchdown and ran for another touchdown for the Seminoles.
🏈The Seminoles forced three turnovers and held the Panthers to 10 third-down conversions.
🏈The Seminoles have won 15 straight games and are ranked fourth in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Big 10
#1 Ohio State (9-0) 35 | Rutgers (6-3) 16
🏈Rutgers took a 9-7 halftime lead, but they were no match for the Buckeyes in the second half.
🏈Ohio State rallied from the halftime deficit after Jordan Hancock returned an interception 93 yards for a touchdown to give Ohio State a 14-9 lead.
🏈Ohio State was limited to 328 yards, but they made enough plays to win the game.
Purdue (2-7) 13 | #3 Michigan (9-0) 41
🏈Michigan beat up Purdue in a rematch of the 2022 Big 10 Championship.
🏈Michigan RB Blake Corum had three touchdowns for the Wolverines and QB J.J. McCarthy was 24 of 37 for a season-high 335 yards.
🏈Michigan WR Roman Wilson had nine receptions for 143 yards.
🏈Michigan has won a school-record 21 straight Big Ten games
Big 12
Kansas State (6-3) 30 | #7 Texas (8-1) 33
🏈Texas defeated Kansas State 33-30 in overtime, keeping their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
🏈The Wildcats made a late comeback to tie the game after UT made some mistakes with QB Maalik Murphy throwing 2 picks and Jonathon Brooks fumbling the ball one time.
🏈The Longhorn defense held K-State to 33 total rushing yards but did give up 327 yards in the air.
🤘 Texas is keeping itself alive in hopes of making it to the Big 12 championship and possibly finding its way into the CFP
#9 Oklahoma (7-2) 24 | #22 Oklahoma State (7-2) 27
🏈Oklahoma State defeated Oklahoma 27-24 in the last scheduled Bedlam rivalry game before the Sooners leave the Big 12 for the SEC.
💯 Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said it was a big game and it's good for the Oklahoma State people to finish Bedlam with a win. Gundy also claimed his 100th Big 12 coaching win.
🏈Ollie Gordon had a career-high 33 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns for Oklahoma State.
🏈Alan Bowman passed for 334 yards and the Cowboys had 441 yards of total offense.
🏈For OU, Dillon Gabriel passed for 344 yards and 1 TD and Drake Stoops had career highs of 12 catches for 134 yards. RB Gavin Sawchuk rushed 13 times for 111 yards and 1 TD.

#5 Washington (9-0) 52 | #20 USC (7-3) 42
🏈Washington RB Dillon Johnson rushed for 256 yards and four touchdowns for the Huskies. Johnson surpassed his career-best in rushing yards by 156 yards yesterday.
🏈Michael Penix Jr. passed for 256 yards and two touchdowns, continuing the success Washington’s offense has had in the air all year
🏈Caleb Williams passed for 312 yards and three touchdowns for the Trojans, having another stellar performance but coming up short due to defensive troubles.
🏈The two offenses combined for 1,087 yards.
🏈This is the 5th time in the last six games that USC gave up at least 40 points
SEC
#12 Missouri (7-2) 21 | #2 Georgia (9-0) 30
🏈Georgia rallied to defeat Missouri 27-21 in a key SEC East matchup.
🏈Missouri led 13-10 early in the second half, but Georgia responded with two straight touchdowns.
🏈Georgia led 27-21 when cornerback Jordan Stackhouse intercepted a pass and returned it 95 yards to the Missouri 5-yard line. A penalty pushed Georgia back to its own 30-yard line, and the Bulldogs were able to get a field goal on the drive, intercept another pass on the next drive, and run the clock out.
#14 LSU (6-3) 28 | #8 Alabama (8-1) 42
🏈Alabama is taking control of the SEC West and is looking to keep their playoff hopes alive.
🏈Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns and passed for another 219 yards.
🏈Alabama scored 21 unanswered points in the 2nd half to get the W
🏈LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels (15/24, 219 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT) was having a good game but left during the fourth quarter with a concussion.
