What Kind Of Football Fan Are You?

It’s that weird but cool part of the football season where we’ve got NFL games on a Saturday and it’s….. THE START OF BOWL SEASON. So the question is, what kind of fan are you? Are you an NFL watcher? The bowl game watcher? Or will you be the one to bust out the extra TV and have multiple screens?

Whatever you choose, we’ll still be breaking down the action on the daily.

NFL Saturday

Minnesota Vikings (7-6) @ Cincinnati Bengals (7-6)

📺️ Gametime is 1 pm ET on NFL Network

💰️ Cincinnati is favored in this one by 3 points, which means Vegas thinks this game would be an even matchup on a neutral field. The O/U is 40.5

👀 Can backup Jake Browning keep things rolling for the Broncos? The Bengals’ defense has been a stronger suit for them this year although Justin Jefferson is expected to give it a ago for the Vikings today.

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) @ Indianapolis Colts (7-6)

📺️ Gametime is 4:30 pm ET on NFL Network

💰️ Indianapolis is favored at home by 1.5 points and the O/U is 42.5

👀 It’s another battle of 7-6 teams, both with some shaky defense as of late. Since the Steelers fired their OC a few weeks ago, the offense has looked better but the points haven’t followed. This might be the week as the Colts’ defense is suspect against the run. Here’s the other thing we know, the Colts can score at home and if the Steelers want to be in this one, they’ll need to get some output from Mitch Trubisky and I don’t really see that happening. I would take the Colts at -1.5 but where I would really put my money is the over.

Denver Broncos (7-6) @ Detroit Lions (9-4)

📺️ Gametime is 8:15 pm ET on NFL Network

💰️ Detroit is favored in this matchup by -5 points and the O/U is 47.5

👀 Detroit is coming off an upset loss to the Bears and we usually see some regression towards the mean. Does that mean the Lions will beat the Broncos by more than 5 points? I’m not sure about that. The Broncos haven’t been putting up huge offensive numbers but it’s been getting the job done where it needs to and the Lions defense is questionable. I see more scenarios where the Broncos could win this game than the Lions whooping the Broncos. I’ll take the Denver with the points and the under.

Injury Reports For NFL Weekend

Seeing as we have some games today it’s probably a good idea to make sure those lineups are set, especially as some leagues might be in playoff right now.

🏈 We already mentioned Justin Jefferson is questionable, but he wants to give it a go today. Alexander Mattison is also out for the Vikings

🏈 CJ Stroud is doubtful with a concussion for the Texans.

🏈Tyreek Hill remains questionable with his ankle injury

🏈 Chris Olave is a game-time decision for the New Orleans Saints

🏈 Geno Smith is questionable for the Seahwaks MNF matchup against the Eagles

🏈 Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. is ruled out for Sunday

🏈 4 of the 5 O-lineman for the Falcons are out so pay attention to have skill positions you have for the Falcons.

🏈 Darren Waller expects to play for the Giants this week. Could we see Tommy Cutlets slice up the secondary with some passes to his TE?

🏈 Isiah Pacheco will be out for at least another week for the Chiefs

🏈Jonathan Taylor remains out for the Colts with a thumb injury

🏈 AJ Dillion injured his thumb and the Packers RB might not be able to hold the ball securely. Aaron Jones is making his return from a knee injury this weekend.

Don’t Worry, We Didn’t Forget

THE LOS ANGELES CHARGERS FIRED THEIR HEAD COACH AND GENERAL MANAGER ON FRIDAY MORNING!

After being demolished by the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night, the Chargers had a short trip back to LA and the front office at least gave Brandon Staley a night to clean out his office, along with GM Tom Telesco.

The Chargers’ owner Dean Spanos said that Chargers fans deserve more and I can’t blame him. Staley was supposed to be a defensive guru and that never really panned out for the Chargers. They have some awesome talent on both sides of the ball but have mediocre results. Staley was 24-24 in his 2.5 seasons and he blew a 27-point lead in the first round of playoffs last year.

Giff Smith, the OLB coach, has been named the interim head coach.
