Koepka Isn't Happy With Who?

Happy Friday! We can’t believe it’s the weekend already. We’ve got a few things on the agenda today and no, we aren’t talking about Wemby and Britney Spears. You can look that up on your own.
Let’s get right to some updates.
Koepka Isn’t Happy With Who?
With all that’s going on between LIV and the PGA Tour, you would think there wouldn’t be room for any more drama, but we’ve been wrong before.
Brooks Koepka is a little upset with his LIV Golf teammate Matthew Wolff and Koepka, who is the captain of the Smash team, has even said he had “basically given up on him.”
Wolff was a phenomenon when he joined the PGA Tour in 2019 after winning the third event he started in. He has a very unconventional swing but can CRUSH the ball.
So what is Wolff doing out there?
He’s doing everything the common man wants to when they play golf.
He’s quitting mid-round, not putting in any effort, breaking clubs, and just get doing down bad.
It seems like Wolff still wants to be a part of the team and is trying to find a way to play his best golf, can he do it?
LIV(e) In London
Speaking of LIV Golf, the league has a tournament in London this week at the Centurion Club in Hertfordshire.
LIV’s inaugural event was held here in 2022 on the 7068-yard par 71 course.
The shotgun start is set for 9:15 am ET and you can watch the action today on the CW App and then tune in to the CW Channel on Saturday and Sunday for the action.
PGA Tour
The PGA Tour teed off another event as we edge closer to the final Major of the year in two weekends.
The John Deere Classic started yesterday at TPC Deere Run, located in Silvis, Illinois. The course runs right along Rock River, which is a tributary of the Mississippi. The course is 7,257 yards long, it’s a par 71 and the total purse for the weekend is $7.4 million.
You can stream the tournament on ESPN+ or watch it today from 4-7 pm ET on The Golf Channel.
Rapid Fire Time
We’ve got a few things to get through and we’re going to run through it rapid-fire style.
NBA News
Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks have agreed on a four-year contract extension worth $120 million. Murray averaged 20.5 points, 6.1 assists, and 5.3 rebounds with the Hawks in his first season. This was another Rich Paul/Klutch sports deal. Klutch is getting their boys paid!
The Phoenix Suns have acquired three second-round picks from the Memphis Grizzlies. The Suns will send Isaiah Todd and there will be some first-round pick swaps in 2024 and 2030 to make this deal happen. Phoenix is trying to recover some picks after trading a lot of them away for KD and Bradley Beal.
KOBE! Kobe Bryant aka the Black Mamba will be on the cover for NBA 2K24. You can preorder the game today!
Wimbledon
UPSET ALERT! World-ranked #4 tennis player Casper Ruud would fall in the 2nd round of Wimbledon yesterday to the 142nd-ranked player. Liam Broady, from Britain, defeated Ruud, who is Norwegian, 3-2 after being down 2-1 in sets.
Andy Murray and Stefanos Tsitsipas could not finish their match last night due to the 11 pm local time Wimbledon curfew. They’ll return to the court today sometime after 10 am ET.
