From Beyond the Arc!

Friday, we made it!

Top Story

Luka Doncic left the game vs the Phoenix Suns with an ankle injury. It's reported that his x-rays came back negative already so that's promising. The Mavs can't afford to be without their leader too long with the Western Conference being a tight race. Luckily the All-Star Break is right around the corner so that should benefit him in recovery.

The Mavs did pull out the W last night, beating the Suns 99-95. Spencer Dinwiddie came up big for the Mavs, scoring 36 points. Check out some highlights here.

Performance of the Day

Mavs vs Suns was a good one to watch and as predicted, the Knicks and Celtics gave us a treat too. We'll give the POTD award to NY Knicks Forward Julius Randle, who dropped 37 points against the Boston Celtics as Jayson Tatum dropped 35 points. The Knicks pulled out the 120-117 win in OT.

Here's RJ Barrett giving the Knicks the lead with roughly 30 seconds to go with a clutch 3.

What to Tune in for

We'll be touching on football, basketball, and tennis on Saturday and Sunday. Friday isn't too packed with action but you can catch the 3rd round of the Farmers Insurance Open on ESPN+ and CBS. The 3rd round and coverage starts at 12:30pm EST.

Looking for some late night NBA action? Warriors take on the Raptors in Cali at 10pm EST. We'll see if Golden State can keep moving up in the Western Conference Standings.

Cheers to the weekend!
