Messi Shines Again

This might be the headline the day after every Inter Miami game. Excuse my language, I’ve kind of said this before but this guy is really, really, freaking good.

Inter Miami faced FC Dallas last night and Messi had his third consecutive two-goal game for Inter Miami. Messi’s 2nd goal would tie the match up and Inter would go on to win in PKs.

Both of Messi’s goals came on free kicks outside of the penalty box. Check out his 2nd goal from this angle. The goalie had zero chance.

DeChambeau Gets 1st Win On LIV Tour

Bryson DeChambeau grabbed his 1st win on the LIV Circuit after carding a 58 on Sunday. He even did it while having a bogey during the round. He had 13 birdies and finished his day off with a long put to grab a birdie on 18.

Lucas Glover Wins On The PGA Tour

Lucas Glover battled it out through a weather delay on Sunday to grab his 5th win on tour after finishing his final round at the Wyndham Championship at 2 under. Glover is the oldest player to win on Tour since Phil did it in 2021.

While Glover was exciting to watch, everyone had eyes on Justin Thomas on Sunday. JT needed to finish near the top of the leaderboard to have a chance at getting into the FedEx Cup Playoffs. He actually finished 1 stroke out of a playoff spot and he was so very close to getting in. He chipped his 3rd shot on 18 and it hit the pin and landed 4 inches from the hole. Tough break for JT but hopefully we get to see him at the Ryder Cup this year.

It’s another light one today as things start heating up and we get ready for a big football season.
