NBA Free Agency Starts
+ Rickie Has The Lead Heading Into Sunday
Happy Sunday! NBA free agency has started and it’s already hot. We’ll talk a bit about some signings and then we’ll get into a few other sports. It’s all over the map today. Let’s jump right in.
NBA Free Agency
NBA free agency opened up on Friday at 6 pm ET and things got busy fast. Here’s what we’ve gotten so far
Dallas Mavericks
The Mavs have resigned Kyrie Irving to a 3 year $126 million deal
They’ve also resigned Seth Curry on a cheap deal
Brooklyn Nets
Resigned Cam Johnson to a 4-year $108 million deal.
Miami Heat
Damian Lillard has requested a trade from the Portland Trailblazers and prefers to go to the Miami Heat
Milwaukee Bucks
Resign Kris Middleton to a 3 year $102 million deal and Brook Lopez to a 2 year $48 million deal
New York Knicks
The New York Knicks have signed Donte DiVincenzo to a 4-year $50 million deal. He’ll be joining former Villanova teammates, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.
Knicks trade Obi Toppin to Pacers for two second-round picks
Golden State Warriors
Resign Draymond Green to a 4-year, $100 million deal
Indiana Pacers
Sign Bruce Brown to a 2-year $45 million deal
Cleveland Cavaliers
Sign Max Strus to a 4-year $64 million deal
Resign Caris LeVert to a 2-year $32 million deal
LA Lakers
Resign Deangelo Russell to a 2-year $37 million deal and Austin Reaves to a 4-year $56 million deal
LA Clippers
Resign Russell Westbrook to a 2-year $8 million deal
Acquire K.J. Martin from Houston and give two future second-round picks in return
Sacramento Kings
Extend Domantas Sabonis on a massive deal for $217 million over 5 years
Houston Rockets
Signed Dillon Brooks to a four-year $80 million contract
Charlotte Hornets
LaMelo Ball has agreed in principle on a 5-year $260 million rookie max extension deal.
World Lacrosse Championships
The USA Lacrosse team defeated Canada in the World Lacrosse Championship Gold Medal game. The US grabbed their 11th world championship with a 10-7 win. Brennan O’Neill, a 21-year-old junior at Duke was the MVP after he scored five goals in the game.
Austrian Grand Prix
Today’s F1 race was an early one but Max Verstappen was right on time with his 5th straight win on the circuit.
Verstappen grabbed 26 points today after making a pit stop with 2 laps to go for some soft tires and attempt to get the fastest lap of the race, which he did.
Charles Leclerc from the Ferrari team would place 2nd in the race today
Rocket Mortgage Classic
The final round for the Rocket Mortgage Classic has been moved due to potential storms coming into the Detroit area. By the time you’re reading this, the top of the leaderboard is likely making the turn onto the final 9 of the day.
Rickie Fowler had the lead going into the final round but Adam Hadwin and Collin Morikawa are trying to chase him down. Let’s see if Rickie can grab a win on tour this season.
ESPN Layoffs

USA faces Trinidad and Tobago in a Group A matchup of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The action will be live on FOX at 7 pm ET tonight.
