Steph Curry ejected for his mouthpiece?

Happy Thursday Everyone,

We're almost to the weekend and we've got NBA and NFL news to cover. Let's get to it.

Top Story

Golden State Warriors pulled out a last second win last night vs the Memphis Grizzlies, even with Steph Curry being ejected from the game in the last two minutes for throwing his mouthpiece. Jordan Poole caught an inbound pass and hit a layup with roughly 2 seconds. With this win, Golden State moves up 2 spots to 8th in the western conference standing. Check out the game winner here, with a pretty cool view.

Performance of the Day

It's 3rd grade and you just learned about foreshadowing (I think?). The performance of the day goes to the KC Chiefs training staff. They've got Patrick Mahomes feeling great after suffering a high ankle sprain. Mahomes was tackled in a similar style as Cowboys RB Tony Pollard who broke his leg and suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. Chad Henne came in to relive Mahomes on Sunday and led a 98 yard touchdown drive but the Chief's will definitely feel more comfortable having Mahomes lead the squad on Sunday vs the Bengals. Will Mahomes be the performance of the day on Sunday? Only time will tell.
