NFL Sunday Preview

Hola! We hope you’re enjoying your Saturday football so far. We’re covering some baseball quickly and then dropping in our guide to an NFL Sunday.

Let’s have some fun and get this party started.

MLB Playoffs

NLCS (Series Tied at 2-2)

Philadelphia Phillies 5 | Arizona Diamondbacks 6

⚾️ The Phillies relief blew it again from the mound in game 4. The Phillies had a 3-run lead and would give up 4 total runs in the 7th and 8th innings.

👉️ Alek Thomas was the difference maker after hitting a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 8th. He’s been struggling in the batter’s box lately so he found himself pinch-hitting and came up big in October

📺️ Game 5 is tonight at 8:07 pm ET on TBS

ALCS (Astros lead 3-2)

Houston Astros 5 | Texas Rangers 4

🥊 Bench clearing brawl or not, the Houston Astros are always ready for a fight in October. They’ve won 3 straight in the ALCS after losing the first two games in the series.

🎇 Jose Altuve hit a 3-run homer in the top of the 9th to get the Astros ahead.

NFL Sunday

🏈We’ve got 11 matchups on Sunday and you don’t have to worry about missing a 9 a.m. game this week to go to the grocery store.

🏈 There are 6 teams with a bye week(Cincinnati, Dallas, Tennessee, New York, Carolina, Houston)

🏈We’re going to take a look at some of the key matchups. You can check out the full schedule here.

Cleveland (3-2) @ Indianapolis (3-3)

📺️ 1:00 PM on CBS

👀We’re looking to see if the Browns’ defense can come up big again like they did against the 49ers last weekend. Deshaun Watson is also returning to the lineup, so let’s how the Browns perform with him leading the offense.

💰️ The Browns are -3.5 favorites on the road and the O/U is 41. You just never know what Browns team you’re going to get each week so I’d probably just take the under in this matchup.

Buffalo (4-2) @ New England (1-5)

📺️ 1:00 PM on CBS

🔑We all know the Pats are terrible and this isn’t a great matchup for them but this could be Bill Belichick’s 300th win. The Bills love to play down to their opponents this year but also love to destroy teams after a bad performance, which Buffalo certainly had against the New York Giants last week.

💰️ The Bills are -7.5 favorites and the O/U is 40. I’m taking the Bills ATS and leaving the O/U alone.

Washington (3-3) @ NY Giants (1-5)

📺️ 1:00 PM on CBS

🔑 Saquon Barkley is back and the offense will be running through him as Daniel Jones is still questionable this week. We’re really here for one bet and one bet only.

💰️ The Commanders are 3-point favorites and the O/U is 37.5. On paper, I think the Commanders win by a touchdown but I’m not touching this. I’m here for a player prop bet for Saquon Barkley to rush more than 64.5 yards. That’s -113 and I think that’s a good deal.

Atlanta (3-3) @ Tampa Bay (3-2)

📺️ 1:00 PM on FOX

👀 Tampa did not look against the Lions last week but that Lions defense is a physical group. On the flip side, the Falcons are really limited on offense by Desmond Ridder and I think that plays well for the Bucs. Give Baker Mayfield more possessions and he’ll do something with a few of them.

💰️ The Bucs are giving 2.5 points and I think they’re going to win by at least a field goal

Detroit (5-1) @ Baltimore (4-2)

📺️ 1:00 PM on FOX

🔑The Lions run game suffered last week without David Montgomery and the Ravens are second in overall defense in the NFL. The Ravens are also a hard team to beat at home so it’s difficult to fade that

💰️The Ravens are -3 favorites and I’ll take Baltimore with home-field advantage

LA Chargers (2-3) @ Kansas City (5-1)

📺️ 4:25 PM on CBS

🔑The Chargers have a bottom-of-the-league defense when it comes to giving yards and that’s not a good look against Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs are also one of the better defenses in the league so that doesn’t help Justin Herbert who is coming off of a rough game last week where he missed some throws.

💰️ The Chiefs are giving 5.5 points in this one and I think the Chargers are going to fight to not go down to 2-4. I could see the Chargers going into Arrowhead and pulling out a win. I’ll take the Chargers getting the points.

Miami (5-1) @ Philadelphia (5-1)

📺️ 8:20 PM on NBC

🔑The biggest game of the weekend is in the Primetime 8:20 p.m. slot. No one has seemed too worried about the Eagles yet but I think we’re playing the results. I think the Eagles haven’t been able to find their rhythm and they’ve been starting slow most of the year. The Eagles’ weakness is the secondary right now and the Dolphins are going to exploit it.

💰️ The Eagles are giving 3 points and the O/U is 51.5. I think this is a no-brainer. Take the Dolphins getting points and take the over.

Enjoy the rest of the college games today.
