NFL Sunday Preview w/ picks
Happy Saturday! This is coming out mid-day when you’re probably watching college games, hope you’re enjoying it.
Let’s jump right into our Sunday NFL Preview and get you ready for tomorrow’s games.
NFL Sunday
We’ve got a weak schedule this weekend as the matchups are super exciting. Either way, we love football on Sundays so we’ll go through some of the games that we’re looking to pay more attention to.
Pittsburgh Steelers(6-3) @ Cleveland Browns(6-3)
📺️ Gametime is 1 pm on CBS
👀 This is going to have to be a battle of run games because Deshaun Watson is out for the year and the Steelers have Kenny Pickett. Both defensive fronts are destructive and will be a challenge to get anything going. I think the Steelers have been lucky each week just holding on every week and closing it out on a few good plays in the 4th quarter, which could be the case this week. DTR ain’t going to be the difference-maker for Cleveland, so I guess the Steelers could keep it close until the end.
💰️ Cleveland is the favorite by 2.5 points and the O/U is a very low 32.5. I think Pittsburgh can keep it close enough so I’ll take the Steelers ATS.
Las Vegas Raiders(5-5) @ Miami Dolphins (6-3)
📺️ Gametime is 1 pm on CBS
👀 The Raiders have won 2 in a row under new coach Antonio Pierce, but we all know they’re not that good. The Dolphins are a powerhouse offense, especially at home and against bad teams, so I’m expecting this to be a blowout. Plus, De’Von Achane is looking to make his return to the backfield tomorrow.
💰️ Dolphins are favorited by 13.5 and the O/U is 46.5. I’ll take the Dolphins and the over.
Tennesse Titans(3-6) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (6-3)
📺️ Gametime is 1 pm on CBS
👀Do I really want to watch the 3-6 Titans? Absolutely not, even if Will Levis plays hard and takes hits in the pocket. I’m looking to see what Trevor Lawrence does as he’s apparently been dealing with a bit of an injury. I think the Titans will have a few nice plays but the Jags HAVE to be better than they were last week against the 49ers.
💰️ Jacksonville is the favorite by 6.5 points and the O/U is 39.5. Jags will win but I think this point spread is too much for a team who hasn’t been playing great. I’ll take Titans ATS.
NY Jets(4-5) @ Buffalo Bills (5-5)
📺️ Gametime is 4:25 pm CBS
👀 There’s not much to say about the Jets but when it comes to the Bills, that’s a different story. The Bills are coming off a short week, with a struggling offense, a new OC, and facing a top defense. Josh Allen could come out and play like the elite QB he can be, but I don’t think it’s happening against this Jets team this week.
💰️ Buffalo is favored by a full 7 points. The O/U is 39.5. I’d like to stay away and just Allen make some good plays without the bad ones, but if I had to choose, I’ll take the Jets getting 7 points.
Seattle Seahawks (6-3) @ LA Rams (3-6)
📺️ Gametime is set for 4:25 pm on CBS
👀 The Rams beat the Seahawks in Seattle 30-13 earlier this year, but our expectations of both teams have flipped since then. Since that game, the Rams have lost 6 of 8, and the Seahawks have won 6 of 8. The Seahawks offense has improved and the Rams don’t really have playmakers in the secondary. Fortunately for the Rams, Matthew Stafford will be leading the offense again. I think the Rams can score points, but I think the Seahawks have the edge.
💰️ LA Rams are the favorite by 2 points and the O/U is 46.5. I don’t really like the spread here but I like the over.
Minnesota Vikings (6-4) @ Denver Broncos (4-6)
📺️ Gametime is set for 8:20 pm on NBC
👀 Russell Wilson has been playing much better football for the Denver Broncos and they’re on a bit of a win streak. Josh Dobbs will be playing his third game for the Vikings and he’s led them to wins as underdogs both times. This is sort of a battle between one experienced QB and another who’s been passed from team to team. The Vikings are beat up a little on the offense but do you really trust the Broncos yet?
💰️ The Broncos are favored by 3 points and the O/U is 42.5. I don’t think I like either team really because I have too many unanswered questions. I will take the over though.
Short and sweet today. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.
