⛳️ A full day of golf

Let’s get rocking

Performance of the Day

There were five 40 point scorers in the NBA on Saturday night and we had a triple double. We’re giving our Performance of the Day to Cam Thomas who helped the Brooklyn Nets come from a 23 point deficit to beat the Wizards. Cam dropped 44 only playing 29 minutes and HE CAME OFF THE BENCH. Great win for the Nets without KD, Ben Simmons, and Kyrie.

Here’s the rest of the notable performances

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo: Triple Double w/ 35pts, 15 reb, 11 ast in win vs Miami (Bucks 123- Heat 115)

  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 42 points in win vs. Houston (OKC 153- HOU 121)

  • Jamal Murray: 41 points in win vs Atlanta (DEN 128- ATL 121)

  • Jalen Brunson: 41 points in OT loss to Clippers (NY 128- LA 134)

  • Damian Lillard: 40 points in loss to Bulls ( Portland 121 - Chicago 129)

Curry out with Injury

Steph Curry scored 21 points in 26 minutes in a Golden State 119-113 win vs Dallas. Unfortunately for Curry and his team, he left the game in the 3rd quarter after defending a drive to the hoop that resulted in an almost knee to knee hit. He’s undergoing an MRI for further evaluation. Curry’s already missed 11 games this season with a shoulder injury and it was looking to like the Warriors could still be a formidable matchup after the All-Star Break. You can watch the play below.

NCAA Men’s Bball

We had lots of Saturday action in the NCAA but we’ll touch on two games.

There was a Big10 upset in Indiana with #21 Indiana Hoosiers defeating the #1 Purdue Boilermakers 79-74. It marks the second loss on the season for Purdue and we expect them to remain the #1 ranked team in the country.

Yesterday we mentioned the Tobacco Road Matchup between Duke and UNC. It was close game throughout for the unranked teams but Duke ultimately pulled away with about 90 seconds left in the game. The final score was 63-57. Duke’s Derek Lively stepped up for the Blue Devils with 8 blocks, 14 rebounds, and a huge jam off a rebound to help win the win(check that out below). You can expect the March 4 rematch in Chapel Hill to be a good one to watch.

NFL Pro-Bowl

The NFL’s top talent is coming together today to draw some more excitement to a game that really needs it. Tune at 3pm on either ABC or ESPN to see a flag football game (it’s actually flag this year) and some other skills competitions.

A Full Sunday of Golf

Due to inclement weather, the AT&T Pro-Am had to postpone completion of Round 3 on Saturday. The Pro and Amateur golfers are back out on the courses early today to complete round 3. After round 3, they will crown a 54 hole Amateur winner and then the Pros will go on to Pebble Beach where the top 60 to make the cut will play round 4 in the afternoon.

Enjoy your Sunday!
