Why Are People Mad At Nike?
+ Sunday at the Masters!
Cue your inner Jim Nantz, it’s Sunday at the Masters!
Before we get to Masters talk, we've got to cover topics like
👟 What’s the deal with Nike
🏈 Ole Miss’ quirky spring practice
🏀 NBA closing out the regular season
🏒 Crunch time for playoffs
Let’s get this Sunday Funday started.
What’s the Deal With Nike?
Do you live in Antarctica? Didn’t think so.
With that being said, you probably know that the Olympics are taking place in Paris this summer, and Nike just released the track uniforms, and they sure do make you do a double take.
What do we mean?
Look at these….

You might notice that the men’s uniform looks like a normal track uniform, but the women’s uniform might have some questionable curvature in certain locations.
We all know Paris is the city of love, but these uniforms make it look like Nike wants it to be the city of lust!
Anyway, before you get too upset, Nike has already come out and said that the athletes will have many different uniform options to choose from, so I guess that “covers up” this mishap.
Ole Miss’ Quirky Spring Ball Game
🏈 Lane Kiffin said he doesn’t find much value in running a spring football game at the end of spring ball because the schemes are too basic and there’s not much to evaluate from the film. So what did they do instead?
They had fun!
Yup. The youngns on the team played in a 7 on 7 game.
There was tug-of-war
There was a slam dunk contest. THESE BOYS CAN THROW DOWN.
Hometown kid threw down 😳

This is absolutely awesome, and I might have to take a future on Ole Miss to win the SEC next year.
I hope they at least ate the hot dogs after the dunk contest!
NBA Playoffs
We’re going to put up some pictures. They will not make sense. We’re going to do our best to give you an idea of what the playoff scenarios could be.
Thanks to some NBA intern who just used learned how to use excel, we have this beautiful view of all the scenarios.
Here’s what we know in the West. OKC and Minnesota have a good chance of winning the West, but Denver could find itself at the top of the conference if both Minnesota and OKC lose tomorrow. The Clippers and the Mavs have locked up the 4 and 5 seeds and New Orleans and Phoenix are fighting for the 6 seed and would like to stay out of the play-in. The Lakers, Kings, and Warriors are all in the play-in, but seeding will be sorted out after games finish today.

In the East things are bit more clear, but still not really.
The Celtics have the 1 seed already. The 2-4 seeds will be decided tomorrow but most scenarios lead to it being Milwaukee, New York, Cleveland, in that order. The Bulls and Hawks will be playing in the play-in tournament as the last 2 seeds. The other play-in spots (seeds 7,8) will be decided today, along with the last two teams who can avoid the play-in as Orlando, Indiana, Miami, and Philly are fighting for the best seeds. The way things looks, it’s likely Miami will be in the play-in tournament.

Now, some of this might not make sense.. and that’s okay! Just turn on whatever games you can because they practically all matter today. It’s a perfect setup by the NBA!
We’ll catch you up on the action at the beginning of the week, and we’ll run you through how the play-in tournament works.
NHL Crunch Time
Bullet points probably serve us best right now.
The NY Rangers won 3-2 against the NY Islanders yesterday in a shootout. The Rangers set a franchise record for most wins in the regular season. The Islanders also needed the 1 point from the OT loss to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The Detroit Red Wings had a 4-1 lead against the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Leafs tied it 4-4 and took it to OT. The Red Wings would win and will keep chasing the playoffs. Leafs center Auston Matthews scored his 69th goal of the season.
The Flyers shut out the Devils to stay in the playoff race.
The Washington Capitals won 4-2 against the Tampa Bay Lightning
The Penguins lost in a battle against the Boston Bruins. Final score was 6-4 and with the Capitals, Red Wings, and Flyers all winning yesterday, the Penguins are likely going to miss the playoffs this year.
The Western Conference is all set in their playoff race. Last year’s Stanley Cup winning the Vegas Golden Knights were the last team to clinch the wild card in the West.
Save Room For The Masters!
⛳️ The Masters started the first day off with a rain delay. Friday had rough conditions where it wasn’t the warmest and the wind was whipping. No one was scoring low. Yesterday was completely different, the wind was still present, but not like Friday. Greens were firmer, there was some sunshine, but the scores still weren’t low!
👉️ After 3 days of golf, Scottie Scheffler has the lead with a total score of -7. Collin Morikawa is just one stroke behind Scottie at -6 and Max Homa sits in third at -5. Bryson DeChambeau had a share of the lead after round 2 and he is now in 5th after shooting +3 on Saturday
👀 Speaking of Bryson..his day would’ve been a lot worse if he hadn’t finished with this birdie.
Bryson DeChambeau finishes with a bang. #themasters

🐯 Tiger Woods shot his worst round ever at the Masters yesterday, where he posted an 82. You can tell he was in pain as viewers caught a glimpse of him rubbing icy hot all over his body and he already had some therapeutic patches all over his back. He’s in rough shape, but he vowed to finish the tournament.
🐶 Max Homa said he’s ready to go for the final round, and while he’s happy to be at Augusta, he’s going to remind himself that he’s a dog and can win this. WE LOVE TO SEE IT. LET’S GO MAX.
📺️ Here is how today will go down. Golfers will start teeing off in twosomes at 9:15 am. The finals group tee off about 5 hours later. Bryson and Xander Schauffele tee of at 2:15 pm, Homa and Ludvig Aberg tee off at 2:25 pm and Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa are teeing of at 2:35 pm. Check out the action on ESPN+ in the a.m. and then switch to CBS at 2 pm for the rest of the coverage.
But I know there’s more to watch…
NHL
🏒 Seattle @ St. Louis, 1 pm ET on TNT (both teams are already eliminated from playoffs)
🏒 Colorado @ Vegas, 3:30 pm ET on TNT (this could be a preview of a playoff matchup)
NBA
🏀 Chicago @ New York, 1 pm ET on ESPN (as long as the Knicks win, they’ll be a 3 seed or better. Chicago is the 9 seed no matter what)
🏀 LA Lakers @ New Orleans, 3:30 pm ET on ESPN (If LA wins, they’ll be the 8 seed. If New Orleans wins they’ll be the 6 seed no matter what and avoid the play in. If New Orleans loses, they can still have the 6 seed if Phoenix loses).
