College Football

We’re back with week 2 of college football and we’ve got a major matchup in primetime.

Let’s dig into the schedule.

Speaking of Prime

Coach Prime will lead the Colorado Buffalo in their first home game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Noon today on FOX. Nebraska is getting 2.5 points in the matchup after being a 7.5 point favorite a week ago. Can Coach Prime lead Colorado to a 2-0 start?

#20 Ole Miss at #24 Tulane

We have two matchups between top 25 teams today and this is one of them. Ole Miss travels to New Orleans for a 3:30 pm ET kickoff. The game will be on ESPN2. Ole Miss is 7 point favorites and the O/U is 66.5. You might be expecting points tonight as Ole Miss put up 73 and Tulane put up 37 points last week.

Primetime Matchup

The #3 Alabama Crimson Tide welcome the #11 Texas Longhorns for a primetime matchup. Alabama defeated Texas by a 1 point margin last season and the Longhorns are heading to Tuscaloosa in attempt to get a tough road win. Both teams won their season openers by convincing margins last week, with Alabama topping Middle Tennessee State and Texas defeating Rice.

Alabama is a 7-point favorite over Texas and the O/U is 53.5 points.

Can Texas cover this game? Texas is 7-2-1 all-time against the spread vs Alabama, and the last year’s 1 point loss came in game in which starting quarterback Quinn Ewers suffered a mid-game injury.

We’re taking Texas against the spread and the under in this game.

Game time is set for 7 pm ET and will be on ESPN.
