Can’t Stop Connor McDavid
The world’s best hockey player can’t stop surpassing his own personal records. Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid scored twice on Monday night to set a career high 124 points. Oilers still have 17 games to go in the season and McDavid keeps adding to his numbers. Check out McDavid scoring the go-ahead goal to lead the Oilers in a 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Allow Me To Introduce
NBA zebra, aka referee, Scott Foster. No NBA referee loves the attention more than Scott Foster. He thrives on giving out technical fouls at the worst possible times to influence outcomes of the games. Lat night Scott Foster “T’d” up and ejected Scottie Barnes of the Toronto Raptors when they were down to the Denver Nuggets by 1 point with 28 seconds left in the game. No, the Raptors did not win the game and no… this won’t be the last time you hear Foster’s name as we’re sure that he will be throwing techs around in the playoffs for no reason.
Scottie Barnes was ejected for the first time in his career on this play in the final seconds of the game.

Celtics Fall Again
The Boston Celtics fall in back to back games on back to back nights. The Boston Celtics had an opportunity to get a win in Cleveland against the Cavs on Monday night, but missed two free throws at the end of the game. The game went into overtime after the Cavs were trailing by 14 at the start of the 4th quarter. The final score was 118-114 and Donovan Mitchell was Cleveland’s high scorer with 40 points.
There’s no need for Boston fans to freak out. The Celts were a little shorthanded on Monday as Jayson Tatum and Al Horford remained in Boston on rest after the double OT loss to the NY Knicks on Sunday. Boston is still in a great position for the post season and if they can be healthy and rested for playoffs, they should be NBA final contenders.
Triple Double rescinded by NBA
Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a triple double on Sunday night but the 10th rebound came off an intentionally failed layup with 1 second left. The NBA stated his rebound wouldn’t count as he didn’t have the intent to score.
The NBA has rescinded Giannis’ 10th rebound last night, which gave him a triple-double, per @ZachLowe_NBA
