Selection Sunday Is Here
The madness has fully arrived. No, we’re not talking about you going crazy because you still have too much snow in March. We’re talking about the NCAA Tournament!
Good Morning. This is the Daily Breakroom and we’re here to catch you up on the latest sports and get you ready for March Madness.
Here’s what we got today:
🏀 Selection Sunday
⛳️ Sunday Rounds
🏒 First Team In Playoffs
Let’s go.
Selection Sunday
Selection Sunday is one of the best days of the year. CBS will host the live show at 6pm and will slowly let everyone know what their teams fate is. While the student-athletes will gather in the locker rooms, auditoriums, or even hotels if they play today, the rest of us non-athletic regular people will be sitting at home figuring out how we’re going to watch all these games at work.
Analysts have a tight grip on who is in and who is out but we have to wait for the rest of the Sunday championship games to take place so it can all be finalized. Here are the Sunday matchups.
Looking to watch the rest of the conference championships before selection Sunday happens? Check out all the games here

Sunday Rounds on the PGA Tour
If you haven’t been paying attention to golf, there’s one thing you need to know. Scottie Scheffler is curb your enthusiasm good. IYKYK

Grab your coffee, soda, or whatever else your drinking on a Sunday afternoon and check out the final round of The Players Championship. You can tune in at 1pm on NBC and watch Scottie Scheffler tee off at 1:45pm as he tries to improve his lead. Scheffler currently sits at 14 under par after he shot a 65 in the third round. He’ll have to hold a few others golfers as there are 6 players who are currently within 5 strokes of Scheffler.
Anything can happen on a Sunday at TPC Sawgrass and Scheffler is going to need to his best to stay in the lead, especially when you have to finish the day by playing the #17 island hole and the #18 with water surrounding the entire left side of the course.
First Team in Playoffs
We’ve mentioned before how good the Boston Bruins are this year. With their 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings yesterday, the B’s become the fastest team in NHL history to have 50 wins. With their 50th win they also become the first team this season to clinch a playoff berth. Congrats to the Bruins for making history.
Bonus Points
We’ll give you a bonus round today because Steph Curry gave us bonus points last night. Curry helped carry the Golden State Warriors to a 125-116 overtime win over the Eastern conference #1, Milwaukee Bucks.
Curry had 36 points, with 22 of those points being scored in the fourth quarter and OT. He dropped 11 points in the final two minutes of the 4th including this last second shot to send the game into OT.
STEPHEN CURRY.
