Sunday Funday On The West Coast

Good Morning and Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there. Kick back, have your breakfast delivered, and watch all the golf you want. You deserve it.

Let’s get this day started.

US Open

Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark shared the 54-hole lead at the US Open. Rory McIlroy is sitting one stroke back from the top of the leaderboard and Scottie Scheffler is within reach as he’s 3 back from the lead. Fowler, Clark, and McIlroy are all playing some awesome golf but Scheffler always competes well on Sundays and he’ll likely find a way to shave some strokes today especially if he can throw darts like he did on 17 yesterday.

We have some dope tee pairings with Scottie and Rory paired up and going off at 5:19 pm ET and Rickie and Wyndham going off last at 5:30 pm ET. Golf is better when Rickie is better so let’s hope he can hold it together today and grab his first major win.

Here are the odds for the final round

  • Rory McIlroy +225

  • Rickie Fowler +275

  • Wyndham Clark +300

  • Scottie Scheffler +400

Canadian Grand Prix

Max Verstappen is continuing his dominance as he clinches the leading pole position for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. The race is set for 2:00 pm ET at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Tune in to ESPN to watch the action. The odds for Verstappen to win are -5000 so that’s an expensive way to win $100. The odds for Sergio Perez to win is +2500 and Lewis Hamilton to win is +6000

Huggins Resigns From West Virginia

Bob Huggins has resigned from West Virginia where he’s been the head basketball coach for 16 years. The news comes after Huggins was arrested in Pittsburgh on DUI charges and had a BAC of .21%. This is Huggins’ 2nd DUI after he had one in 2004 and he also was going to be suspended for a few games next season by WVU after he used an anti-gay slur and insulted Catholics on a live radio show in May.

Double Header In Fenway

The Red Sox vs Yankees matchup on Saturday was postponed due to rain covering the Northeast. We’re in for a treat today with a doubleheader in Boston. The Red Sox will host the Yankees at 1:35 pm ET and will run it back a few hours later with a 7:10 pm ET game. The late game will be on ESPN.

To all the Dads… remember… Don’t let your Mondays ruin your Sundays!

HAVE A DAY!
