NFL

  • Jonathan Taylor, RB for the Indianapolis Colts has requested a trade from the Colts after he hasn’t gotten a contract extension. Colt’s Owner Jim Irsay said he will not be looking to trade Taylor. Taylor is set to make $4.3 million this year but is one of the league's most talented RBs.

  • Sony Michel, RB for the Los Angeles Rams has decided to retire from the league after 5 seasons in the NFL. He won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in his rookie season and then with the LA Rams in 2022.

  • Ezekiel Elliott, former RB for the Cowboys will be visiting the NE Patriots today. Elliott was released by the Cowboys after the 2022-2023 season when he had his lowest-performing year since entering the league

MLB

  • Max Scherzer is reportedly being traded to the Texas Rangers which will bolster the Rangers’ pitching rotation for a World Series run. Scherzer has elected to opt into the 2024 season with the Rangers as part of the deal.

  • Aaron Judge hit a 442-foot home run in his 2nd game back after being out for 42 games with an injury. The Yankees picked up an 8-3 in Baltimore last night.

  • The Houston Astros piled it on the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday with a 17-4 win

  • The LA Dodgers snuck by the Cincinnati Reds with a 3-2 win

PGA Tour

Lee Hodges is chasing his first PGA Tour win as he heads into Sunday’s round with a 5-stroke lead at the 3M Open. Hodges is at -20 overall, JT Poston is in 2nd place at -15, and Tony Finau is in 3rd at -14.

Hodges and Poston will be teeing off at 1:35 pm ET today.
