Heading into the Masters "Weekend"
Good Afternoon,
This is the Daily Breakroom and we’re only sending out a quick Masters update.
Here’s what were discussing

What To Look For In The 3rd Round
Mother Nature Rolls Through Augusta
Some joke that golf stands for Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden and even though Augusta opened their doors to women in 2012, Mother Nature decided to make an appearance during the 2nd round on Friday.
The 2nd round was postponed for a short time as some storms rolled through Augusta and play was eventually resumed. After 90 minutes of golf, play was suspended for the day due to serious storms and high winds in the area. How serious are we talking? Serious enough that some trees became fully uprooted and were very close to crush patrons.
A good view from the broadcast of the 3 trees falling near the 17th hole at Augusta. Miraculously no one was hurt.

The Cut Line
The second round was finally finishes Saturday morning and the cut line came in at +3. Some key players who weren’t expected to be a day out just missed the cut and we have a few other surprise makes. Let’s start with the surprise misses.
Rory McIlroy
Justin Thomas
Bryson DeChambeau
Here’s who just scraped by at +3
Dustin Johnson
Tiger Woods
Fred Couples (He becomes the oldest to ever make the cut at Augusta)
What To Watch Out For On Saturday
Brooks Koepka and John Rahm will be teeing off together at 1:06pm at Koepka leads the pack at -12 and Rahm is just behind at -10. Their 3rd playing partner is amateur Sam Bennett who is currently sitting at -8.
What’s the big story today? The weather. As the leaders get ready to tee off, the wind is a bit settled, temps are cool, and there are only a few drops of rain but it’s unlikely to remain this mild. Conditions are expected to worsen as the day goes on and it might make it more challenging for Justin Rose, Cam Young, and Collin Morikawa to pick up strokes as they all sit at -6 right now.
Tune in to CBS all afternoon to see if Koepka and Rahm can separate themselves from the rest of the group.
Bonus Round
The amount of money Augusta makes from selling Masters merch is insane.
This is the line for merchandise at The Masters.
They'll do about $70 million in merch sales this week.
That's $10 million a day, $1 million an hour, $16,000 a minute, and $277 every second.
Absolutely insane.
