USWNT Coach Resigns

+ BMW Championship Tees It Up

Good Morning and Happy Thursday. I hope you’re ready to have a great day because we’ve got resignations on the pitch, scraps at football practice, and crazy plays on the diamond.

Let’s get the juices flowing.

USWNT Coach Resigns

USWNT head coach Vlatko Andonovski has resigned after the disappointing World Cup exit in the round of 16. The US won only 1 of 4 matches at the World Cup.

Andonovski failed to meet the expectations of the US Soccer and the fans as the US Team hasn’t been eliminated before the semifinals in any of its previous eight World Cup appearances.

You never want to be the coach coming in after the legendary coach and that’s pretty much what happened here. Andonovski was filling the shoes of Jill Ellis after Ellis won the 2015 and 2019 World Cups.

PGA Tour’s BMW Championship

We’re down to the last 50 golfers in FedEx Cup rankings and they’ll be battling it out over the next 4 days to see who can stay in the top 30 and have a shot at a FedEx Cup Title.

The BMW Championship will be played at Olympia Fields’ North Course, where the PGA hosted the same tournament in 2020. The North Course was opened in 1923, 8 years after the country club itself opened. The entire property spans over 1,000 acres and the clubhouse is more than 110,000 sqft.

The course is a classic parkland style, completely landlocked and lined with trees. There’s only 42 feet of elevation change and it stretches almost 7,400 yards. There are two par 5’s that are over 600 yards and par 4 that comes close to the 500-yard mark.

Oh, we might have forgotten to mention hole no. 8 which is a 280-yard par 3 😅.

So the question is…. Can Lucas Glover 3-peat? He’s got the putter working, he’s got the momentum and he sure has nothing to lose. He wasn’t even expecting himself to be here.

With only 50 golfers left were bound to get some great tee pairings. Golfers will tee off at 9:26 am ET and you can stream the action on ESPN+ and then watch on the Golf Channel at 2 pm ET.

Check out these pairings when you tune in:

Coach Prime Wants You To Scrap

The University of Colorado football team is under new management(HC Deion Sanders aka Primetime) and that new management wants you to scrap. Anyone who has played college ball knows the best part about August is the scraps during practice.

Lifting in the offseason is fun, and partying with the boys is fun, but you build real camaraderie when you jump in on a fight with your side of the ball. Offense vs defense…that’s how you build a cohesive unit.

Well some dudes went at it in practice and some guys just walked away and Deion Sanders wasn’t pleased. Prime let the young boys know if one of them fights, they all fight.

The Colorado Buffaloes went 1-11 last year… are we going to see a different team when they face TCU in the season opener?

Colts Lose Taylor To Personal Matter

Jonathan Taylor is not practicing with the Indianapolis Colts after he’s been excused by the team to deal with a personal matter. This is not related to his contract dispute and we don’t have a timeline for his return. Taylor is also recovering from an ankle injury that he had surgery for in January and hasn’t been with the team much.
