A week of the fringe

In partnership with

Howdy!

We’re still taking it easy until the Olympics, but we’re checking back in after another week on the fringe.

We’ve got updates in the major sports, and the summer is when many of the other sports shine.

Let’s take a quick look at what happened this past week and what you can look forward to this week.

This cannabis startup pioneered “rapid onset” gummies

Most people prefer to smoke cannabis but that isn’t an option if you’re at work or in public.

That’s why we were so excited when we found out about Mood’s new Rapid Onset THC Gummies. They can take effect in as little as 5 minutes without the need for a lighter, lingering smells or any coughing.

Nobody will ever know you’re enjoying some THC.

We recommend you try them out because they offer a 100% money-back guarantee. And for a limited time, you can receive 20% off with code FIRST20.

What happened in the last week?

⚽️ Spain won their 4th Euro title as they scored a late goal to beat England 2-1.

⚾️ The Cleveland Guardians selected Australian Travis Bazzana no. 1 overall in the 2024 MLB Draft. He’s a 2nd baseman from Oregon State and won the batting title in the Cape Cod League over the 2023 summer season. For those who don’t know, the Cape Cod League is a historic summer baseball league for college players that continues producing many professional players.

🎾Carlos Alcaraz destroyed Novak Djokovic in three sets to win back-to-back Wimbledon titles, bringing Alcaraz's total tally to four major titles.

⛳️Robert MacIntyre won the Scottish Open after making a 22-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to get the win.

🏈 Aaron Rodgers claims his Achilles “feels good” and just needs to get back out there for the upcoming season. That's good for Rodgers, but I would like to see his Achilles “feel amazing” after he said he could’ve made a return in December last year.

🏈 Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Attison was arrested for a DUI on Friday night. He was reportedly asleep at the wheel in the middle of a lane by LAX airport. The NFL normally sorts these things out quietly, but this sounds like it could be more severe. Keep this in mind regarding fantasy drafting in the coming weeks.

What To Look Forward To This Week

There’s not much going on except for two big things!

🏈 The new NCAA Football 25 video game is being released on Friday. The last time we had a game released was the 2014 version, where Michigan’s Denard Robinson was on the cover. This newest version’s cover will include Michigan RB Donovan Edwards, Texas QB Quinn Ewers, and Colorado’s WR/DB Travis Hunter.

Why was there such a big break between games? You can read about that right here!

⛳️ The other big thing we’re looking forward to this week is golf’s final major of the year, the Open. The 152nd Open will be hosted by Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland. Get that cup of coffee ready for early morning in the US because we’ve got coffee golf. You can catch the action as early as 3 a.m., and you’ll be finished by 3 p.m., so you can still get the lawn mowed or get a round of golf in yourself!

The field is set; here’s who is playing. If you don’t feel like clicking the link and just want to know then…. YES, TIGER IS PLAYING.

Here’s the 📺️ schedule for all you folks planning to watch.

Cheers!
