Arnold Palmer Invitational
If you were relaxing on the couch yesterday and had the Arnie Invitational on, you were in for a treat. Sunday’s final round was filled with a few of the world’s top 10 golfers and one who was ranked 46. The 46th ranked golfer was Kurt Kitayama and he had the final round lead. He ultimately held off the top 10 golfers even though there were many lead changes during Sunday’s round. After losing the lead by hitting a ball out of bounds, Kitayama recovered during the final holes and hit a beauty of a shot out of the rough on the 18th. All he need was a par to win and he had a decent distance two putt and not bogey. Check out his 3rd shot that was as stubborn as they come. With this W, Kitayama moves up in the rankings to #19 overall…. and he won $3.6 million 😀
Kurt Kitayama sealed the win with a near-perfect putt under intense pressure. 💪 @APinv

Wild Finish in Memphis
The #1 ranked Houston Cougars traveled to Memphis to take on the Tigers in the final game of the AAC regular season. Houston had a 41-32 lead at half and struggled in the 2nd half only scoring 26. The game was tied at 65 with 5 seconds to go and it looked like it would go into OT. The #1 team had different plans apparently. Check out the finish to see what went down.

NBA Scores and Updates
The New York Knicks traveled to Boston to take on the Celtics for the 4th time this year. It was a great game throughout and went into double OT. The Knicks were able to hold of a last second attempt and take the win 131-129. The Knicks have beaten the Celts in 3 out of 4 matchups this season.
Milwaukee returned on Sunday after their 14 game win streak was ended on Saturday. The Bucks certainly weren’t going to start a losing streak. They took down the Washington Wizards 117-111.
The Phoenix Suns and Kevin Durant traveled to Dallas to take on the Mavericks and Durant’s former teammate, Kyrie Irving. Durant said it was just another game when facing Kyrie. The stars showed out in this one. Durant had 37 points and Devin Booker had 36 for the Suns. Kyrie had 34 and Luka Doncic had 30 for the Mavs. The Suns came out on top 130-126.
A Beatdown in the UK
While Sunday’s are usually reserved for football in the states, this Sunday there was football match taking place in the UK between two rival cities. Manchester United traveled 45 minutes to take on Liverpool for an EPL match. It was all even in Liverpool until the 43rd minute of the match and the floodgates opened. Liverpool scored 7 goals over the next 47 minutes of play to defeat Manchester United 7-0. I’m sure that bus ride home felt much longer than 47 minutes as this in Man Utd’s worst loss ever in the league. Check out the goals here.
Liverpool 7-0 Man Utd with Peter Drury commentary.
Enjoy reds.
