Will Tyreek Turn Up The Heat On The Bills This Weekend?

We’ve got Pro Bowl rosters, Pro Bowl snubs, and a feeling that Tyreek Hill will turn up the heat on the Bills this weekend. Too soon?

My bad.

Let’s do this thing today.

NFL News

Tyreek Hill Had To Leave Practice

Tyreek Hill's $7 million house caught fire in South Florida yesterday, and the superstar WR for the Dolphins got news of it while he was at practice. Hill’s family and pets were all safe, and the firefighters were able to contain and put out the fires. The house has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a home theatre, an NBA-sized basketball court, two guest houses, and some other amenities(is this a VRBO listing?)

This occurs during a week when the Dolphins are prepping for a big game against the Buffalo Bills. The winner takes the AFC East.

We’re glad Tyreek and his family are safe and extra glad we had Rick Ross live at the scene.

Pro Bowl Rosters Selected

The Pro Bowl rosters have been selected, and it’s no surprise which teams have the most players going. In the NFC, the 49ers have nine players selected, and in the AFC, the Ravens have seven players selected. You can check out the full rosters here.

Of course, any time the Pro Bowl players are selected, it can sometimes feel more like a popularity contest than an actual award. So, who got snubbed?

🏈 Josh Allen? Many people think he’s better than all the QBs selected. I don’t really care, and I don’t think he does either. He skipped the Pro Bowl last year for a golf event

🏈CJ Stroud? He’s a shoo-in for rookie of the year, but the Pro Bowl? That might be a stretch. Or maybe not… Stroud would probably be in if it weren’t for Lamar Jackon’s running ability.

🏈 Everyone is up in arms about Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown not making the roster but here’s the thing, there are clearly 4 better receivers in the NFC. He’d be guaranteed to get in if he were in the AFC.

🏈 If you’re upset about St. Brown, you should be upset that Niners WR Brandon Aiyuk was left out, too!

Is Antonio Pierce The Guy For The Raiders?

Antonio Pierce took over the Raiders in November, and the team went 4-4 under his leadership. The players seemed to have rallied around him, and things look better each week. The question is, will the Raiders go out and do a full search for a new head coach or hire someone who’s done a pretty decent job in the short term? Pierce has said his worst day as head coach was his first day, and he’ll only get better.

It seems others, like star WR Davante Adams, want to keep Pierce around, too.

"It's obviously who I wanted, and he's my vote," Adams told reporters Wednesday. "I've been vocal about that, and that's basically how the whole locker room feels, and with good reason. He's come in and done a great job.

"He's continued to win us over. It's not just the comfortable thing; I think having AP here would be good for this organization. He embodies what it means to be a Raider. That mentality, that swag, all the things that he endorses are what I believe in.”

Let’s see if the Raiders can beat the Broncos in the season finale, and then we can have the discussion on if he deserves the head coaching job.

NBA Stats & Scores

Milwaukee Bucks 130 | Indiana Pacers 142

👉️ Milwaukee is 1-4 against the Pacers this year and can’t seem to get over the hump. The Pacers put up 47 in the 3rd quarter to get a lead for the 4th. Tyrese Haliburton finished with 31 points and 12 assists.

New Orleans Pelicans 117 | Minnesota Timberwolves 106

💪 The Pelicans played bully ball against the “best” team in the West last night, and Zion Williamson scored 27 points. CJ McCollum dropped 35, and the Pelicans have won four in a row.

👉️ Anthony Edwards had 35 points for the T-Wolves.

🖐️Check out this nasty block by Zion!

New York Knicks 116 | Chicago Bulls 100

👀 The Knicks are 2-0 since they traded RJ Barrett and Imannuel Quickly to the Rapotors for forward OG Anunoby

👉️ Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle combined for 66 points in the win, but the standing ovation went to Isaiah Hartenstein as he had 20 rebounds.

Miami Heat 110 | LA Lakers 96

📉 The Lakers are 2-8 in their last ten, and their play is declining. While Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves both had great nights, scoring 29 and 24 points, respectively, LeBron James struggled during his 38 minutes on the court and finished with 12 points.

👉️ The Heat had an all-around team game with eight scorers in double digits, and they were led by Tyler Herro, who had 21.

LA Clippers 131 | Phoenix Suns 122

👉️ Paul George scored 33 points, Kawhi Leonard added 30, and the Clippers extended their winning streak to four straight by beating the Suns 131-122. Los Angeles has won 13 of 15, while Phoenix's four-game winning streak has snapped.

👀 This was a solid effort by the Suns, who haven’t had a full roster pretty much all year. KD was out for his 2nd straight game with a hamstring injury. D-Book scored 35, and Bradley Beal put up 21. Phoenix still came up short, even with Bol Bol hitting two 3-pointers on the night!
